Work has continued over the summer period with the 'new deal' negociated with Carlsberg UK. This has allowed us to put in Cellar cooling which in turn has enabled us to add a Real Ale (currently Black Sheep), Thatchers Gold Cider (yummy!) and San Miguel along side our more traditional range. Better than that, it should enable us to hold 2011 prices on most products through the 2012 season :-) unless of course the govenment decides to add 10p on a pint in the budget :-(

Due to the continued sucess of the 'glamping break' a further 3 heated standard family 5 pods have been ordered for 2012 with the new group of five having their own fixed pod communial shelter. 

For next year you'll be able to chq availability and book on-line using our new secure on-line payment facility. This will be applicable to Tourers, Tents, Pods and Holiday Hire Units.

Great insight into Camping, Podding and Holidaying on the Park!

BBC Radio Leeds announce they are to run their morning show from the Park on wednesday 17th August. Guests will include ourselves, Ian Bone the man behind the camping pod and Liz Colleran - a recent local winner of Dragons Den. Further information and report to follow.

The 2011 season will see a complete overhaul of the the current facilities. £90000 is being spent to add extra showers and toilets with the addition of a seperate unisex baby changing and disabled unit. Work to be completed by the first weekend in March.

Park receives the coverted gold David Bellamy award for conservation for the 8th succesive year.

After the hugh sucess we have had  with the standard pods, we pleased to announce the addition of 2/3 'Mega' Pods for the 2011 season.

These are around 40% bigger than the standard pods and come with there own fixed bedding, sink, toilet and hob. Prices to follow

Haworth 40's weekend 14-16th may 2010 just goes from strength to stength!

Catherine Towers (Upwood Partner) raises nearly £15000 with a friend for Scope. The challenge was to climb Mt.Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. As part of the fund raising they held a raffle with a £1000 cash prize. The winner was Mr.T.Jones from Burnley (one of upwood's holiday home owners).

Catherine's husband Frank had previously raised a similar amount, cycling from Wembley to Berlin (2006) and climbing Mt.Roirama in Venezualia (2008).

All three events were well supported by the Park's customers. Thanks. 

Upwood park recieves the coverted Bellamy Gold award for a 7th succesive year, they have been involved with the scheme since 2002 when owner Mr.Frank Towers received his first award from Prof.David Bellamy.

The Pods are all heated with light and electric, sleeping up to a family of five. Superb reviews from the first season - Come and give them a go!
