PARK RULES – VISITORS TO THE PARK.
Unfortunately the park has to have some rules to ensure that
you and your neighbours are able to enjoy the facilities that
the park offers without being a nuisance to each other.
The following general rules apply to those who are visitors.
Anyone ignoring these rules risks being asked to leave the site.
As we are now part of the David Bellamy Conservation Award scheme (we were awarded a GOLD grade in 2005) a number of our rules are linked to the environment. These are as follows.
The park is to be kept in a tidy condition at all times for the enjoyment of you and our many other visitors. Should you ignore this request you will be asked to leave the site.
There is a site speed limit of 10 mph on the site as a whole including approach road.
Televisions and music systems shall only be played at reasonable volume levels. Noise should be kept to an absolute minimum between the hours of 10.30 p.m. and 8.00 a.m.
Vehicle movements are not allowed between the hours of 11.00 p.m. and 7.00 a.m.
Generators are not permitted.
Animals.
Whilst dogs are very welcome on site they must be kept under tight control at all times. There is a dog exercise area down the lane adjacent to the park. Should your dog foul the park or adjacent lane please ensure that it is cleaned up.
Visual.
All units are to be visually acceptable.
Refuse must be placed in the large bins by the toilet block (Please condense all rubbish and use bottle and can banks) Recycle bins available near office/reception.
Washing lines must be clearly visible and not interfere with grass cutting.
No commercial vehicles are allowed near to caravans or tents. Car parks should be used where these vehicles need to be brought onto the site. Maximum of 2 cars per pitch. Any excess to be placed in the car park.
All units are to be pitched close to the marker pegs.
Children.
Parents are asked to ensure that their children behave themselves at all times and do not cause annoyance to others. All children found to be misbehaving will be sent back to their caravan.
All ball games to be played in bottom field. Motorised scooters/bikes are not allowed on the Park or down the lane.
The play area is unsupervised and it is the parent’s responsibility to ensure that their children are correctly behaved and do not cause harm to themselves or others. The play area must not be used after dusk.
General.
All vehicles are parked at owner’s risk. No liability is accepted for loss or damage whilst on the park or otherwise unless the management are found to be negligent in any way.
Fires are not permitted although BBQ’s are acceptable provided that care is taken and no damage is caused to grass or equipment. Blocks are available to raise BBQ’s off the grass.
Caravans are not allowed to be advertised for sale whilst on the park except through the office.
All caravans except park homes must be used for holiday accommodation/recreational use only and not as your main or sole residence.
Post/Mail is not accepted.
All caravans and motor vehicles must be insured and have MOT if applicable.
Gas is available from the site office. It is recommended that all units have two gas bottles as it is not possible to obtain gas outside office hours. You should ensure that your second bottle is always full. Gas bottles should be securely stored to avoid any possibility of falling over and causing subsequent damage to either persons or units.
Any equipment borrowed from the site is done so at the users risk. Site management cannot be held responsible for any damage or injury caused whilst equipment is being used by other than members of staff.
