Escape To The Countryside

Upwood Holiday Park opened in the mid-1960’s, offering a country escape to the holidaying public.

Taken over by Frank Towers in 2002 the park has undergone extensive renovations and upgrades in the past few years. With Frank’s futuristic ideas and drive to make the park a pioneer in the camping arena, Upwood holiday park was not only the first park to have glamping Mega-pods but Frank also had a hand in designing them! The next big step forward was the arrival of three Mongolian Yurts – a first in West Yorkshire!
